He has plans for Evangeline, plans that will either end in the greatest happily ever after or the most exquisite tragedy. . ."

THOUGHTS

WARNING: DO NOT READ THIS SERIES BEFORE THE CARAVAL-TRILOGY! (Because one main character in this appear in the second book - Legendary - and if you read this first, you'll spoil yourself. . .)

I try to imagine how I would've felt for this book if I'd read it before the Caraval-trilogy. The answer to that thought is that I think I would’ve liked it a lot less. Even if I hadn’t seen the reading order on several videos on Booktok, just the fact of Jacks’s participation as a side-character villain in Legendary and Finale would’ve been enough for me to read Caraval first. I was gonna read that series anyway.

Jacks has become my new favorite book-boyfriend (among many others…) I LOVE him!

Evangeline is now one of my favorite FMC:s too.
I just love every character to be honest.

And this series is just as good and magical as the Caraval-trilogy (if not more)

RECOMMENDATION

This book is just so magical that it feels like you're there with the characters. It's so fast-paced too, and who doesn't want to get as many books as possible read this year?

To sum up – a perfect read for those who want to dive into another well-written, magical series my Stephanie Garber.
