ABOUT
"Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?"
THOUGHTS
This book made me cry. I have not read any book where I liked and remembered every scene in such detail as I did with this one. I have read it multiple times and I will for sure read it again. I really loved how you could gradually see Fallon’s personal development as Ben steps in to help. Throughout the whole book, I went back and forth between loving and hating Ben. I was not sure about what he really wanted from Fallon. One thing I am sure about is that the story is clear in its aim. The plot twist was totally shocking! Colleen Hoover has succeeded!
RECOMMENDATION
I would, without any hesitation, recommend this to any reader in high school or older, whether they love Colleen Hoover or not, and who wants an outstanding read.
To sum up – a read even for those who have no hopes for Colleen Hoover books.
